- This tool has been designed to install the actuator link rod on the arm of the turbo on the 2008 to 2010 6.4L Ford Power Stroke Diesel engine. When servicing either the turbo or actuator they must be separated. This connection is very difficult to install and the components can be easily damaged if extreme caution is not taken. Here is a perfect example where it’s important for a technician to have specialty tools. With this tool, the technician simply rotates the arm up, slips the self-centering installer over the arm, and with two wrenches the stud is pushed into the arm in a matter of seconds. The tool pays for itself by helping the technician work more efficiently, saving time and eliminating the possibility of damaging any parts in the process.
